16:00~17:00 Présentation de projet projet intraEEG: SWITCH (Julien Bastin/ Maëva Laquitaine (This project aims at clarifying how brain dynamics underlie reactive task switching. Our goal is to compare behavioral and neural data when one switches from an automatic to a controlled action in response to an explicit instruction. Single-unit studies performed in monkeys revealed that reactive task switching activates neurons within a dorsomesial-prefrontal-subthalamic nucleus loop. In this project, we will record sEEG in this network while patients will be asked to perform a reactive task switching paradigm. The paradigm we developed (and tested in healthy subjects) will allow us to distinguish executive processes from action selection components occurring prior movement execution. A drift diffusion modeling approach will be used to further clarify this issue.)
